Grace and Peace to you!
Welcome back to week number one and more rain (which we really do need). I hope your return finds you rested and renewed and ready for the adventure of this new term. Below is what’s up this week as well as some “save-the-date” events later in the term. In the midst of all of it, let me know how I may be of support for you and your journey this term.
Wednesday, 3/2, 5:30 – 7:30 PM Student Gathering @ WestM
Join us for food and catching up on spring break adventures. Dinner begins at 5:30 PM (looking like a burrito night this time). At 6:30 we turn the corner into our Face-to-Face Time as Sonja ventures out as our leader in our continuing Student Leadership Potluck topic series (no hint yet from Sonja about her topic so be ready and be surprised). At 7:30 we will gather as the WestM Student Council to plan and flesh out our adventure together for the term. All students are welcome to share their voice, ideas, and leadership. We will wrap up no later than 8:30 PM.
Saturday, 3/5, 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM Habitat for Humanity Service Project
Pitch in as we partner with Benton Habitat for Humanity on a Re-Habitat project – helping to rehabilitate an older person’s home so they can continue to live in it safely. We will meet at the WestM parking lot at 9:30 AM and carpool to the home site out on Peoria Road on the other side of the Willamette. We will return to WestM by 2:30 PM. Lunch break will come in the middle of all of it. Please RSVP to Tim for this project so we know how many to expect.
